What is eKala?
eKala is the new way to order online. eKala lets you easily find and order your daily needs from
your favourite supermarkets and so you can get back to your busy life. We've modernized delivery
to provide you more convenience, control, and accuracy.
Contactless Delivery
What is contactless delivery?
Contactless Delivery is the new way to get your order delivered to limit unnecessary contact
between customers and courier/drivers. As part of our commitment to the health and safety
of our network, delivery orders now can be contactless to provide our users with a delivery
experience they can feel confident in.
How does Contactless Delivery work?
With Contactless Delivery, the driver will leave your order at your doorstep to limit unnecessary
contact. Make sure you check that the phone number on your eKala profile is up-to-date
because your courier may call you when the order is delivered. Please keep your eye on your
phone for updates.
Placing an Order
How do I order with eKala?
- Choose yout supermarket
Begin by entering your postal code on the homepage and choose “your favorite supermarket”.*,
eKala will display the supermarkets that deliver to your location or are available nearby for pickup.
You can indicate what time you would like for delivery or you can choose express delivery to
receive your order as soon as possible or you can pickup your order by yourself.
*By default you can make your purchase from eKala.
- Place your order
Once you’ve selected your supermarket, it’s time to choose your items. Browse the categories and
select your items. If you can’t find something you can search it in the search bar. Once you’ve
finished adding your favourite items, press the “Checkout” button.
- Checkout
Confirm your order and choose make the payment with your credit or debit card. Your order is
immediately sent to the supermarket and you will receive a confirmation via Text Message or email
or both.
My online order hasn’t arrived…now what?
If you never received your order but received a receipt from us, please let us know ASAP.
We'll look into what happened and get back to you as soon as possible.
Note: If you selected the delivery option "Leave at door", please check your door to make sure your order has not already arrived.
If a delivery person made a reasonable effort to contact you when arriving at your requested location, you may not be eligible for a refund,
You must be home or delivery will be left at the front of your house and/or apartment building.
To make sure you get your delivery as scheduled, we recommend:
- Turning on notifications for the ekala App
- Keeping an eye out for text messages and phone calls from the delivery driver
- Please Leave helpful instructions for parking, gate codes, or other things to find your home.
